Squid fishing

This Saturday, Takeshi invited us to go squid fishing in Newport.

Newport locates at the east coast of Rhode Island, a summer vacation town famous for its beautiful masons built by millionaires at 19 century. Squids love Newport's clear sea and blue sky; every spring and autumn, they swim to Newport to lay eggs. Fishermen also swam into Newport to catch them. These squids are famous for both quantity and quality. "These are sashimi-grade squids," Takeshi said.

We arrived at around 6PM and stayed until late night. Temperature dropped fast in the night, but everyone still felt very exciting because squids are nocturnal animals. I caught my first one at around 9PM and finally got four. Not many, but really delicious!
