Picture framing

Yesterday we sent uncle's oil painting out for framing. That's a nice little store about 5 min driving distance from our apartment. The store clerk was friendly, and every pictures in the store were taken care beautifully; however, the price is not cheap.

We chose a simple antique-looking wooden frame, which is probably the cheapest frame in the store, but still cost $136. luckily, all the custom frames are now in promotion, so we got 50% off for our frame. $68, okay, kind of acceptable (it is really true that everything is expensive in the US, except coke and gasoline. ps. the gasoline price has dropped from $4 to $2.19 per gallon)

If everything goes smoothly, we will have our painting back with nice wooden frame around it two weeks later.
